To combat food waste, Meal Canteen aims to enable schools, administrations or companies to choose and reserve their meals on their smartphone or computer, by the day before lunch at the latest.
mobile application redesign
I was the sole designer on the redesign of the Meal Canteen IOS and Android application. I didn't start from scratch as the first versions already allowed me to have a strong idea of what was working, and what was requiring updates, of missing elements. I partnered closely with the engineering team to create unified experience that could easily be adapted for each surface, and within each technology.
I started of by recreating a style guide with basic primitive elements:
And then started to tinkering ideas within the current version, one highly requested feature was the capability to use a calendar within the application:

desktop application development
I designed and participated to the coding of the front-end, while partnering with the product manager and another engineer. The desktop was consuming the feshly developed graphQL API.
